The tragedy strikes hard, and the pain is immediate and intense when losing a loved one. Tears may come, but God's comfort can bring peace, helping you focus on His presence and hope.
Death was not God’s idea. God is the God of life. The enemy of God and man caused death to come to humanity. But death shall not win in the end. God has a plan for eternal life, giving us hope that our loved ones live on in His presence, bringing comfort and reassurance.
God's promise that one day, death will be no more, affirming His victory and giving hope for eternal life.
Remember God is walking beside you, crying with you, and His presence can bring peace, even if you can't feel it now. His comfort is always near. He promises He will be there. He will never leave you or forsake you.
His Word is true, His promises they shall come to pass:
It is written, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor shall there be any more pain: for the former things have passed away.
He who sits on the throne proclaims, ‘Behold, I make all things new.”
Revelation 21:4-5
Christians grieve differently because they have hope in the resurrection.
The Bible hub version says it this way: " 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope.
Just as Jesus died and rose again, God will bring with him those who have passed away in Christ.”

1 Thessalonians 4:14 (NKJV) "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus."
Revelation 21:5 (NKJV)
Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
By the Lord saying, “These words are true and faithful,” He was saying that this would certainly come to pass.
God is with us from the beginning, and when the intensity of natural sorrow eases, we can exchange our grief for the peace of God.
Surely, He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows. Isaiah 53:4
When we are ready to release it, we can give our grief to Jesus, let go, and let Him take it. He will fill us with comfort and get us through these times that hurt so bad. He desires to console those who mourn and promises beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
Again, the Lord tells us in Revelation 20:14 that death will be thrown into the lake of fire, where it is destroyed forever.
We have this hope, this earnest expectation to look forward to. There will come a time when there will be no more death.
God dwells within us and feels our pain. Jesus expresses compassion toward the brokenhearted: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." Matthew 5:4. The Lord is near to those who grieve, offering hope beyond death.
We naturally look for answers and strive to understand, but some things are beyond our grasp.
The story of Job in the Bible may be helpful as we walk through times of great trouble.
A very short version of the story of Job: Robbers came in killed Job's servants and stole all of his thousands of sheep, camels, oxen, and donkeys. Then a great wind came and destroyed the house where his seven sons and three daughters were gathered together. And all the sons and daughters were killed. all in one day.
At first, Job said, "The Lord has given, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.
After that, painful boils appeared all over his body. His wife's advice was to curse God and die. Job’s friends came and asked him what he had done; he must have done something wrong for all this to have happened to him. But Job was a faithful servant of God.
Job knew that God was righteous, and he began to question, basically saying, “God, why?” We don't always get an answer or an understanding of why some things happen. Job tried to make his case to God, focusing on his losses, which was not helping his grief.
Jehovah began to speak to Job. Jehovah means ‘I Am,’ ‘The Eternal Living One,’ or ‘self-existent, Creator. He reminded Job to focus on who God is. God’s creation constantly speaks to us of God's majesty.
God helped Job refocus on the greatness of God and on how, as only a man, Job is not qualified to judge an Almighty God. We can trust God to work all things out for good. Job didn’t understand or know why things happened, but when he focused on who God is, he repented and trusted God.
At the end of the story, God gave Job twice as much as he had had before. We Can Trust God.
Only the earthly body dies from ashes to ashes. But your loved one continues to live in the spiritual realm. Their soul and spirit moved to a place that is as real as our natural world. The earth was created from the spiritual realm, and each realm holds profound reality.
With this in mind, remember that life on Earth is temporary for all of us. For Christians, earthly death is but a doorway. As painful as it is for those who remain, death is truly an entry into a spiritual, tangible realm, where God dwells. Eternal life is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ. John 17:3.
The definition of: The “ spiritual tangible realm” it is a non-physical dimension that is considered just as real and substantive as our material world. While typically invisible to the human eye, it is described as an “underlying power” that energizes and manifests the physical realm in many belief systems. It is the Primary reality from which all physical life originates and is sustained.

Your loved one has moved back to the realm from which we came in God. You will either join them there, or Jesus will bring them back with Him when He returns to earth. Either way, you have not lost them; you know where they are. And you will see them again.
For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37 (NKJV) If you have any doubts about that, (read more), believe God and be comforted.
As for your loved one, it’s not goodbye; it’s, "I’ll see you later."

But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”Romans 5:8

Maybe you would like to renew your commitment to Jesus today, or you want to receive Him with your whole heart for the first time. If you're thinking about that, don't wait, just ask Him into your heart right now.
It is written: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9 (NKJV)
