Trusting God

Trusting God, a way of life for believers. Psalm 34:17 the righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Tribulations will come in this world. We need not panic when it happens, we just need to be prepared to deal with it.

It is possible to be a believer in Bible and still doubt that it will come to pass for you. Will God really answer your prayer?  You may say, "I hope so."

You absolutely can hope for it. Bible hope is earnest expectation, you earnestly expect it to happen.  Trusting God is an action that is fueled by faith.

Trusting God
-Knowing-
Believe without doubt

Trusting God is easy when you know-believe without doubt-that God is on your side. When you know that the promises of God are for you. Then as your relationship with God grows, you are able to learn how to receive what God says is yours trusting Him.

God is on your side. You can know that because of the Word of God . The Scripture tells us, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. It is essential for us to know what God says about whatever subject we are dealing with.

The word of God is truth.  That's how you can distinguish truth from error. If you don't know the truth, what God says then you can be deceived into believing a lie.  How can you truly be trusting God in a situation that you really don't know God's opinion about it?

Standing on Scripture is standing on a firm unmovable foundation. Preparing to deal with whatever situation you may be confronted with is knowing and believing God without doubt.

When you know God's character by the revelation of his word then confidence in it God can rise to the level of the great men and women of faith we read about in Scripture.  You can know that God cannot lie and while standing on the firm foundation of the word of God your faith and belief in God can rise.

God Saves Us
From our enemies

Put on the whole armor of God found in Ephesians 6:10 to 20. The shield of faith is part of that armor and it will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. No need to be afraid when you are attacked, God is on your side.

The Word of God says; He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting God. His heart is established; He will not be afraid, Until he sees his desire upon his enemies. Ps 112:7-8

The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence. I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. 2 Sam 22:3-4 NKJV

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

One word picture about trusting God can be seen in “my Stronghold”.
A stronghold physically was a huge wall made up of many stones that were cemented together with mortar. Spiritually you can have a stronghold of beliefs in your heart.

Your heart is established trusting God when you remember the faithfulness of God toward you daily. Meditate on the many times He has come through for you in the past when you could not see a way out. He has never failed you.

Even when things go wrong for a time. It may seem as though God has forgotten His promises as the enemy says, "where is your God now?" In the end God will always prove faithful to you personally as He has throughout history. Have faith in God.

It is a decision you have to make with your free will. Will you believe a God who can not lie? Or the father of lies who cannot tell the truth? Tell that lair to be gone in Jesus Name resist him and speak the Word of God as a weapon. God IS good ALL the time and His mercy endures forever.

God draws a line in the sand. Which side will you be on? That is the mortar that holds the stones together. The stones can be seen as the promises of God, your belief in God is the mortar.

It's not about you

It's not about you being "good" enough for God to grant your request. It's not about you AT ALL. It's ALL about the Spotless Lamb of God and all that HE has done for us. God the Father does not even look at us except that he sees us through the blood of Jesus.

Jesus paid for all of the promises, don't doubt, receive them, they belong to you because of What Jesus did. Jesus Thank YOU!! Have Faith and believe.

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus. Gal 2:16 NKJV

Trusting God is relying on Jesus and not your own abilities, strengths or any thing else. An example is the Rich Young Ruler. Instead of being able to give every thing away trusting God he trusted in his riches and missed learning how to enter the Kingdom of God that is within us.

Most Christians have not yet learned that no matter how dedicated you are to God it is impossible to over come your sin nature on your own. As Jesus said with man it is impossible but with God all things are possible. Jesus won victory for us on the Cross, He is the only thing you need.

The kingdom of Heaven is a place, but, the Kingdom of God is in our hearts. It's the leading of the Holy Spirit in us. It's a way of knowing how, a way of doing things, it's a method of acting. Jesus came and brought to the earth the Kingdom of God. He taught how to enter the Kingdom by His example of trusting His Father in Heaven alone for everything.

If you are ever attempted not to trust God as you're going through a trial, remember to focus on the character of God. Focus on how much he loves you, and what Jesus went through for you. He loves you with a never ending love unconditionally. Turned to Him with all of your heart and  seek Him and you will find him.

The Kingdom of God

The kingdom of Heaven is a place, but, the Kingdom of God is in our hearts. It's the leading of the Holy Spirit in us. It's a way of knowing how, a way of doing things, it's a method of acting.

The kingdom of God is a realm, it is a particular level of consciousness in which an individual lives.  It is the territory over which a sovereign rules. It is a region with in which prevails toward dominates. The facts are with in the realm of the kingdom of God.

It's Trusting God. Jesus came and brought to the earth the Kingdom of God. He taught how to enter the Kingdom by His example of trusting His Father in Heaven alone for everything.

If you are ever tempted not to trust God as you're going through a trial, remember to focus on the character of God. Focus on how much he loves you, and what Jesus went through for you.

He loves you with a never ending love unconditionally. Turned to Him with all of your heart and  seek Him and you will find him for the Kingdom of God is near you.

Trusting God
Because of His Grace

The Lord said to Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Cor 12:8-10 NKJV

Ps 62:8 O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. New Living Translation.

As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.2 Sam 22:31KJV They cried to God in the battle, and he was entreated by them; because they put their trust in him.1 Chron 5:20 Webster

Ps 18:3-4 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies. Webster

Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. Ps 16:1 Webster
Ps 25:2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me, Webster But it is good for me to draw near to God; I have put my trust in the Lord God, That I may declare all Your works. Ps 73:28 NKJV

2 Peter 1:2-4 grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord as his divine power has given to us all things that pertains to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Isaiah 26;3   you will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord for ever, for in the Lord, is everlasting strength.
