Prosperity_vs_Poverty

Concerning Prosperity_vs_Poverty, some say in poverty there is virtue and warn against prosperity. They quote, "the love of money is the root of all evil. Beware of the deceitfulness of riches." And some say,"the rich can't get into heaven"But what does God say?

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.Hosea 4:6

Not understanding Prosperity_vs_Poverty can keep you in the grip of poverty.

IF your thinking, "I don't have to worry about the love of money, cause I don't have any"... think again. It matters not if you have money or not,  it's not about money. It's about the "LOVE" of money.  That is the root of all evil. God wants us to prosper YES, but to LOVE Him.

What really is Prosperity_vs_Poverty

Revelation 2:9  I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich;)...

There are more ways than one to prosper. their are better things in life than monetary wealth.  And wealthy people can be considered poor if they are poor in the greater things than gold. But God's will is that we prosper in all things.

In the book of Acts 3:25 it is written,.. you are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, "And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed. 26 God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away everyone of you from your iniquities."

Prosperity includes blessings of all sorts but the greatest of blessing is Jesus. If you have Jesus in your life that is the foundation of Prosperity_vs_Poverty . Even if not overly monetarily wealthy, with Jesus in your life you are considered rich. And the Holy Spirit can lead you into all truth.

In the Kingdom of God
is a Hundredfold Return

God's will is that you become rich in all things including monetarily; You can choose to follow the plan of God... in regards to Prosperity_vs_Poverty

In the story recorded in Mark 10:28, Jesus makes it clear:Then Peter began to say to him, see, we have left all and followed you.

29 So Jesus answered and said, assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for my sake and the Gospels,

30 who shall not receive a hundredfold  now in this time houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions and in the age to come, eternal life.

Genesis 26:12,13 then Isaac sold in that land, and reaped in the same year hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;

Genesis 30:43 thus the man (Jacob) became exceedingly prosperous, and had large flocks, female and male servants, and camels and donkeys.

These are just a few scriptures that show that God's will in Prosperity vs poverty, is for you to prosper in all things.

Poverty, a
curse

Jesus said it was hard for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. It's hard for a rich man not to trust in his wealth. Riches deceitfully promise security.

Focusing only on getting rich leads your focus off trusting the Word of God. Mark 13:22 says the deceitfulness of riches choke the word - and it becomes unfruitful.

If you keep your focus on God seek ye first the kingdom of God and all of these things will be added unto you. They will come with blessings and not curses.

Poverty is part of the curse that Jesus came and redeemed us from by the Blood of His cross. He became poor that you might become rich. God wants you to prosper.

Jesus redeemed us from the curses of the law. Deuteronomy 29:21... The curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law.

Was Jesus a Rich Man?

S2nd Corinthians 8:9  For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.

Jesus was a rich man contrary to popular belief.

As a baby, three wise men were sent to Him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Our Father in Heaven set Jesus up for life financially.

He had a robe made without a seam so valuable the soldiers at the cross cast lots for it. Jesus needed a treasurer to take care of the finances of the ministry, his name was Judas who held the bag.

The day Jesus went to the cross Jesus took our sins and our sicknesses, but also, if that weren't enough, He also took our poverty.  Poverty is one of the curses that Jesus suffered for our sake. They stripped Him down, cast lots for His clothes and left Him to die on the cross with nothing left.

We as children of God must not let Jesus sufferings be in vain. We must Seek the things that He died to provide for us. Learn from the Word of God how to receive and enjoy our salvation from all the curses of sin.

3rd John 1; 2  beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.

God's will is that you prosper just as your soul prospers. Seek God and your soul will enjoy Prosperity_vs_Poverty. And just as your soul prospers so to will your prosperity in all ways.
